Jennie Rogers will be dancing once again in the annual Dancing With The Danville Stars competition on November 7, 2015 at Danville High School Gravely Auditorium from 6-8:30pm. Professor Popcorn Visits Jennie Rogers 3rd Grade

Students in third grade are learning about nutrition and exercise this week through a 4-H program called Professor Popcorn. Each day students learn a new food group, do exercises and learn the importance of staying active, and get to enjoy a healthy snack. Often students are able to try a food for the first time! 4th and 5th Grade Trip to Dupree Nature Preserve

Thank you to Greensource and Toyota for sponsoring a field trip to Dupree Nature Preserve. The fourth and fifth grade students got to experience a day at the Dupree Nature Preserve on Thursday, September 17th. The students learned how to hike using a compass, followed animal habitats, created a typography of a watershed, and used found items to build a raft. What a fabulous trip! PTO Spirit Day- Wear Flip Flops To School

The Jennie Rogers PTO will be sponsoring several Spirit Days throughout the school year. Each month there will be a different fun activity to get involved in. We ask that you bring any amount of spare change to participate. The money goes toward the Kindergarten Kid-tucky Derby at the end of the year. It is such a fun event for the entire school! Please wear your flip flops and bring your spare change on Friday, August 25th for our very first Spirit Day of the year! Go Cougars!  READ MORE...
